Specifically, what do you not like about Bruce Pearl?
Sure, Bruce has made some mistakes in life, but from the tone of this board, you would think the man is Dave Bliss.
Iāll chime in. Heās a douche. Acts like a douche on the sidelines. Acts like a douche in media interviews. His voice sounds like someone is tazing his vocal box at all times. He has a chin strap for facial hair. He cheated everywhere he went until it became legal. He took his shirt off at a student rally once.

You left out the part where he ratted out an assistant at another school for recruiting violations (Illinois then ended up getting sanctions for just about everything BUT what he turned them in for) and then proceeded to become the poster boy for NCAA recruiting violations over the course of the next 20 years. Heās the photo beside the word hypocrite in the dictionary.

I was going to avoid mentioning the Twitter feed because I donāt want to get into that on the sports message board, but regardless of your politics I think everyone should be able to agree that the head basketball coach at a large university tweeting about politics that much is absolutely deranged behavior. He should generally be too busy for whatever the hell is going on there.
I think Auburn and Liberty are two of the only places in the country you could possibly get away with that at.

Bruce really wasnāt implicated on anything that went down with Person, other than failure to properly monitor his assistants. The Tennessee had very little to do with NCAA violations & everything to do with some of the top brass at Tennessee just wanting rid of Bruce Pearl.
You mean, other than all the recruiting violations? Or do you consider that not enough of a negative?
Edit - Worth reminding everyone that Pearl got a 3-year show cause from the NCAA. Hereās a decent rundown of Pearlās ups and downs.
