George Mason is 15th in Kenpom defense and VCU is 21st so the rock fight is expected but still disappointed/wanted a fireworks game for such a âhigh stakesâ game

Before this post, I thought the 3 were Shaka, pitino, and Odom.
Now Iâm worried itâs capel, pitino, and Odom. And thatâs depressing.
No idea who the âmystery candidateâ is. If itâs an assistant as fresh alludes to, youâd assume someone with uva ties like Jenny Boucek or Kyle Getter.
If not an assistant, then Shaka. Or Iâm trying to will Grant McCasland into existence.
On the balance, Iâm taking freshâs cryptic posts as a negative news update as it seems to point away from Shaka and byington but implies lesser candidates talked about here.

My read on mystery guy is heâs either a big name coach that we likely canât get, Rick Carlisle being my pick. Or itâs just a mid major coach that hasnât been widely talked about so people want to keep it that wayâŚsay like Olsen from UCSD for example.
