Knowledgable Kentucky fans vehemently disagree. The stuff he ran for his personnel was garbage. And itâs well reported that he made deals with DJ Wagnerâs parents for certain playing time, which screwed him. Same thing happened in past years, too. Made these dumb deal so certain guys could get their minutes, then it made no sense when you saw how the roster fit together. Borderline malpractice.

Cal took everything that wasnât bolted down in Lexington. Pope was left with one single player and was able to create a top 25 team from scratch while getting a late start in the cycle.
Would UNC be able to get Bill Self right now? I donât think so (although who knows with the last round of rumors lol). Using the Roy move is sort of disingenuous. Thatâs a momma called situation.

Gotta throw a flag on this one. We have a culture of athletes going to class. UNC and Kentucky, meh.
That said, the fact is the UNC program is still a blue-blood and would definitely complicate things for us. Iâm thrilled for Hubert to have a nice fat extension. He deserves it. In fact, letâs take up a collection to extend him to 2035.

Iâm not worried at all about Odom and Wake if UVA wants him. Donât know Odom personally obviously but from all the known info about him, UVA will and should get him if they decide on him. The question is will we
I did not know/realized that Skin had coached with TTO. That is intriguing. Donât think you hire based on that, but I would like to see the next Coach make a concerted effort to recruit better in the DMV

Thatâs an oxymoron. And most of my best friends are UK fans.
They run on emotion.
But what they hated about Cal the most was his insistence on two things: (1) Rosters full of OADs and (2) playing two true bigs every minute of every game (though he relaxed that, ironically, in his last year in Lexington).
