What’s worse is how much he praised the opponent.
I would have preferred,
“Guys got to hold on to the ball. I also need to figure out how to get Brennan in rhythm. That’s on me. But we will get together and figure it out.”
Body language is showing that these guys aren’t confident. Either in each other. Or in the coaching staff. Just don’t like the strategy he took (which is what he’s been saying through the first two games)

I got no problem with his half time interview. He spoke the truth. Gotta protect the ball on the goalline BA gotta be smarter with the ball.
Any Div 1 athlete who can’t hanfle that level of criticism shouldn’t be in D1 and definitely won’t be successful.
The offense was moving before the TOs. Fumbles are on player effort and awareness.

Totally agree. No issues at all with that interview. Things definitely aren’t clicking on every play and the morale doesn’t look great, but the really stupid bone head plays are not CTE’s fault. Would be in complete control of this game without the fumbles.

I would rather he would say that in the locker room. Not on tv. Players want to know that the coach has their back. Confidence is a problem on this team
I have no issue with it in principle but the coach hasn’t taken accountability for any of his mistakes thus far through the season.

I definitely want him to show more accountability publicly. But in that instance I don’t think itbwas necessary. He’s called a pretty good game so far. Team should be up 16-0 at the least.
He has called a very good game. Without the turnovers we would be in great shape
Two 4th down stops and a muffed punt. Otherwise, we’re down is another way to look at it.
The passing game is still alarming.
And i admit I’m being overly negative / nit picky on Tony. Got to turn it around for the sake of my sanity and this board.
