The concern with Moser is heās never had a winning conference record at Oklahoma. Weāll see if that changes this year, but I donāt love going after a power conference coach who hasnāt gotten to a winning record
Even at Loyola, he was only .500 in conference.
In that respect, Rhoades has been pretty phenomenal everywhere heās been. Weāll see w/r/t Penn state this year
I think theyāre projected to go 7-11 on T-Rank, the SEC is quite a strong conference. SMU is ranked 10 spots below them on T-Rank and theyāre projected to go 12-8 in the ACC.
Honestly that might be part of my pitch for a coach to leave one of those conferences. The NCAAT selection committee seems to hate teams that are close to .500 in conference play, no matter how strong the conference is, so thereās a point where the depth of the conference ends up being bad for the teams closer to the bubble.
Yeah, if I remember correctly, it seems like that started later when the ACC and some other conferences made a visible push to try and have teams demonstrate sportsmanship.
Fresh- Iām worried. This is what we call Alzheimerās. As someone who didnāt get to play a lot, I have a vivid memory of this because I would see a lot of the other players and coaches I knew.
We did a handshake line after every single game. There were a couple of court storming incidents which never resulted in handshake lines, but we did it every time.
I am choosing to believe the whole rest of the team was in the formal handshake line while @DFresh11 was wandering around putting up an extra shot or two and dapping up courtside fans.
