My older daughter went to CHS and her sophomore year did āvirtual PEā. It was stupidly hard. Sure, she was expected to log how much exercise she got, but she was on the tennis team so it was hardly an issue.
The problem was how much written work was expected. Early one, one assignment was to come up with a concept for an exercise facility in the area that provided a service current places didnāt provide. Then she had to put together a sample marketing pamphlet with the concept and advertising for the facility. Also, she had to write out a schedule for a weekās worth of activities/events/classes for the proposed business, along with a quick write-up on each activity.
This wasnāt like a semester-long project or anything, it was her assignment for that week. The next week had new stuff to do. On top of the exercise. For Virtual PE.
It was easily more demanding than any of her APs and felt like a college class on recreation management. At one point she was getting like 27% in it because she was so far behind on all of the zillions of assignments.
Wow. Well, on the bright side, as uninspiring as our win over Campbell may have been, it looked pretty good compared to Ole Miss about to beat Grambling by 1. Fouling up 3 paying off for Ole Miss in the end.
Wow. Up 1, Seton Hall got the inbound to someone with no one near them and instead of holding onto to it, threw it at an unsuspecting person who missed it out of bounds.
Fordham wins on a left hand floater buzzer beater.
Edit: and then it goes right into a game with Quinnipac up 21-15 over St Johns. Bad day for NYC bball
