Holy moly. In the Zags loss to Washington, 3 of their 5 starters played all 40 minutes. Do the Zags have a bunch of injuries?

So weird to me seeing Cincinnati in the Big 12. (Edit: and BYU, Houston and UCF)

Also, Trey Green pretty much benched the last couple X games after putting up big ugly minutes earlier in the season.

They just don’t have enough guards since they lost Steele Venters for the whole season. They go 9-deep at best with only 4 of those guys being guards, they start 3 of them, and the 4th is their 9th man, a freshman who has barely played.

Ha it was one of those situations when they said it on the TV I thought “Oh yea those schools are close…” never occured to me. Funny since I got it to Seton Hall and never went to visit or actually consider it

When the kids were young, we’d take their travel basketball teams to these games because they were close and cheap and easy to get seats. It was a fun outing. But I don’t know anyone at Rutgers or Seton Hall who considers this a rivalry game, let alone anyone in New Jersey.

Nah - just trying to keep Purdue ahead of us on the upset list.
Seems our sweet spot might be a 6 seed?
Only been that once and got to the Sweet 16.
Only a 2 seed once and left in the first weekend.
Never been a 3 seed. Would that be magical?
4 seed ain’t it recently. Lost first round last 2 times as a 4 seed, lost in the 2nd round once under Leitao…
but did get to Elite 8 in 1995 as a 4 seed.
Maybe a reprise of that team? One of my favorite teams in Hoo history.
5 seed 5 times - lost First game 3 times Lost by 26 in the 2nd round once and also got to an Elite Eight — the Richard Morgan team - also one of my faves.
7 seed results pretty good: Final 4 in 84, 2 losses in the 2nd round and a 1st round loss.
8 seed - never been
9 seed once and lost First round by 13.
10 seed once - lost by 26 in first round.
11-16 - Never been.

So what seed based off history do you guys want - assuming we don’t get a 1 seed?

I will say that Tony has dunked on Jake’s athleticism/inability to dunk a couple times this year. I have to imagine Jake is in on the joke, but it has made me wonder.
