LMAO Will Wadeās suspension is over. What a way to celebrate it
Hahahaha. Thats pretty funny
In hindsight not really that surprising. I remember when Tony went out there but the Indiana mod was like āUVA and other schools hesitating because they want to see moreā
Heās a softie who just shoots 3s (and meh percentages even out of hs). I remember watching him get worked and out muscled by Louisvilleās Kaleb Glenn
When itās all said and done, Gertrude and Buchanan might both be top 10 in terms of impact at the college level out of this 2023 class.
Good gracious. This weekās CBB schedule is awful. Nothing worth watching until UConn-Gonzaga on Fri night. What the heck am I gonna do with myself.
Pelicans celtics and hawks (if you can stomach trae young)
I know the NBA catches a lot of hate, but I have the League Pass and itās worth it.
And the UConn/Gonzaga game doesnāt tip off until 10:00 EST. I suppose I am getting old, but thatās too late for me.
Yeah, same here. Those UVA games at Cal & Stanford, Iāll pay the price in lost sleep. Otherwise, sorry West Coast
How did I miss this? Him and Louisville (some smoke there) would go hand in hand
Torvik and Lunardi debatingā¦
What would make sense to me is to project which conferences are most likely to have the automatic qualifying bid go to a team who would have missed the tournament otherwise, which you could do with some (large) degree of error. Trying to project the size of the bubble accurately at this point does seem kinda crazy to me and putting forward a projected bracket seems completely useless, but I guess people do like to click on them.
I mean, thatās Lunardiās entire job with ESPN, right?
KenPom sorted by toughest strength of schedule thus far. Three UVA opponents in the top 12.
But check out all those SWAC teams⦠theyāre full-time road-trippers. Mississippi Valley Stateās first home game of the season is Jan 6. Alcorn State played an NAIA team at home on Nov 8, their next home game isnāt until Jan 20. These dudes earn their scholarships for sure. If the Washington Generals were in a conference, it would be the SWAC.
I assume the payouts from this helps finance their athletic budget.
Definitely. If any college player deserves to be earning a paycheck, itās the guys on teams like that, who are clearly working for the sake of the university rather than the university working for them (by giving them an appropriately competitive schedule). And I know, they get scholarships, and they opt into this knowing the deal. Just saying, gotta at least give them props.
Randomly stumbled upon the Creighton - UNLV game. I guess want to see what Traudt actually looks like in a real game. 1. Pete Gillen is still annoying. 2. Itās embarrassing UNLVās home court is the G League Ignite court with no mention of UNLV.
