I was thinking he seems like what they want out of Carrere. Can he play a 15-18mpg role and be a bit more dynamic than what Tillis gave us (not just an offensive glue guy)

One thing I just noticed, and I admittedly got confused by it to, a lot of these ‘plan to’ guys have not yet entered. I had thought Mustaf and Kingz were in already, but they were just part of the ‘plan to’ crowd

I think its possible. There are guys that care more about money or other factors than the starting spot. There are a lot of good players out there.
And are we sure that was the understanding when he committed? We thought that, but I’m not sure we know what the staff was planning or communicated to the players. The initial flurry of guard commitments/Malik rumors made it pretty clear some of these guys weren’t going to start.

It’s certainly possible, I just don’t think it’s all that likely, but we’ll see! That’s the fun part.

You are likely right. He looks like a slight upgrade offensively over Malik. Is he also a better defender (would be hard pressed not to be)? We’d still be smaller in the backcourt with Mallory and Bizjack who is smaller than Malik and weighs less but maybe moves laterally better (see above question). I didnt watch much Butler outside of our game.
Khamenia would be a very good guy off the bench like for Duke this year but in an expanded role now that he got a good amount of PT.
lol no. Per EvanMiya he’s a decent bit worse, but there’s likely some noise there and Bizjack was carrying a big load on a worse team this year.
