Ok VaSports, bar is set. UNC got almost 5 mins of scrimmage highlights. Not much to gleam, pretty much a pick up game. Like the announcer doing his best street ball voice. Also, like what little I see from Nickel, think he could have been good here

Love in street clothes? Nickel looked decent there. I figured they’d recruit over him right away, but doesn’t seem to have happened so far, does it.
More notes here – Love had hamstring tightness. The big white kid is apparently yet another Maye brother. 
I’ll hold off on my opinion of Nickel’s game until he’s playing against actual defense. And more to the point, until he actually playing defense.
Exactly. He’s got the offensive skills to be a good ACC player but who is he going to defend? Not sure he’s playable unless he can guard wings because he is a tiny 4. Gardner’s height but without the muscle. Bond will end up bigger than him and we’ve heard all offseason how skeptical everyone is about Leon defending in the post.
Of course, UNC’s standards for defense are way lower than UVA’s so that will work in Tyler’s favor.
