The changes were made 3 days ago and I see the last comments from 3 days ago. There have been no reports further. Let me know if the issue crops up again.

I think there’s been no reports further because it’s only been 3 days and people affected probably don’t want to keep nagging y’all about the same thing over and over. But no, not resolved, still inundated with ads and my likes were wonky last night (haven’t read or interacted much today yet).

Ad in between posts in a thread. The full gauntlet of ad spam. Fwiw I’ve tried other browsers too. Same issues.

Gotta say I feel better being associated with the bulldozer ad than the weird cartoon stuff before…so an improvement by my vote.

Hoodat is on the case. But just to confirm, I also still see takeover ads regularly.

Just following up with a tip for those who experience this. The heavy ads were getting worse (including multiple showing at a time on the forum home page) so I tried with Firefox + an ad blocker (I use Ghostery) for the past week and have had zero ads show.
It also seemed to fix the intermittent glitchy likes/reaction problem as well, so it seems that function was being affected by the ads.
Took me a while to try this because previously I had issues with the forum and Firefox mobile, but it’s been working great the past week.
