Wild. I also coulda swore MJs junior year he averaged like 27 ppg. That musta just been against the ACC

But did he do it before June 1984?

I’m a huge MJ fan. I’ll go to my grave arguing with my 20 something kids that he’s greater than LeBron. He was a great college player. I’m just not sure I’d put him with Ralph & Thompson as a college player.

Is a great debate but MJ was unreal in that ACC. Len Bias?

If Mt Rushmore is strictly stats ala Hansborough for me it misses true greatness. Nothing against Psycho T!

Oh MJ absolutely did it before his NBA career. Ask Rick Carlisle. Was just transformative shit we all saw him doing. Different like Ralph and Thompson

Everyone I know always says Phil Ford is the best ACC player ever. But I never watched him

Also love the debate. Good shit my man!

Jordan is in the top 4 is debatable for sure. top 10 he’d be a lock. But there’s been some serious greats in the ACC, top 4 is a slim cut haha

Yeah, I knew when I posted that, it would get a reaction.

MJ was ahead of his time as a guard. As great as Olajawon was, I’ve always wondered if Houston ever regretted taking him…especially having just drafted Ralph, before his injuries happened. Or him & Drexler together in Portland would have been crazy.

Reece! and Ryan Dunn were so good, they found a way to make Jordan’s college resume look even better 40 years after he left UNC.

Love this debate. My first response was ā€œJordan..hmmā€ then like @HoozGotNext I saw the stats and said yeah he makes it. Plus it’s hard to ignore his post college career

So Ralph is the greatest ACC player ever? Tough to say no on personal accolades and playing 4 years at UVa

Ryan Dunn was the stocks founder. Either him or Cory Alexander, nobody mentions it more.

Who we talking about here? MJ Collins from Vandy? We putting him on Rushmore based on his time at VPI? Seems like a stretch…

MJ once asked me how it was going. I told him it was going well thanks. A fist bump ensued. It was awesome.

That tall official that walked him off the court is Darren White who is the son of a longtime assigner on the West Coast. I worked with two of those guys back in the day

Damn. Loved reading Feinstein’s stuff. I once had a very brief interaction with him at the 2006(?) ACC tournament, and he seemed like a nice dude.
