Hawkeye Whitney was a favorite opposing player of mine. I thought he was great. Also, if memory serves me correctly, it was because he had fouled out of game at U Hall once, and, on his way to the bench, he went to the Virginia side and shook Coach Hollandās hand. Iāve always remembered that as a great display of sportsmanship.
