I’m a bit confused why we’re going with Hartsoe over Nnanna at RG. I know Nnanna has looked rough in his limited time here but Guard is his natural position, figured he’d at least get a shot to move over now that Christ is healthy.

I was one of the “dont bench my king Colandrea” guys but I see why they did it. And they were probably right. Glad Muskett is getting his shot.

I will give Muskett this. Seems much calmer. Experience probably helps the game seem slower to him whereas Colandrea is fast and overthinking

Was not a fan of those 2nd and 3rd down calls, basically just gave up on trying to get to the sticks. Regardless though we’ve gotta stop stalling our drives with procedural penalties.

Unless Muskett has a pick fest in the second half, he’ll get this game, W&M and @UNC for sure. Then you can compare UNC vs NC State, similar defensive ranks. The Miami defense is going to wreck us. GT defense is bad, but slightly better than BC. UL’s is good, Duke’s is very good and VT is halfway decent.
If this is Muskett’s upside vs a very bad defense, we’ll probably be OK against the rest of the schedule if he doesn’t turn the ball over and Washington and Fields stay healthy.

I think I’d be shocked if you told me before the season we had 2 good QB’s(better than BA) and we were winless. This team stinks like I expected, but for different reasons than I expected.

Another thing is starting Muskett for the rest of the season does preserve AC’s redshirt. If you believe in Colandrea as the future of this team and not someone who is gonna transfer to UCF in the offseason and put up 3500 passing yards in Gus Malzahn’s offense, you want him to have an extra year to start here.

He’s got one year left after this one. Am guessing the staff would like for AC to be the starter in 2025 as a RS sophomore with three years left.
