Obviously very weak pitching from the Hoyas but the team looked great last night. More of that tonight, need a head of steam to Atlanta!

Arroyo gets the start on the bump tonight.
Great. At least he’ll have a chance to warm up.
1-0 HOOS in the bottom of the 1st on a Godbout SAC fly RBI. Still got two on with two outs here in the frame.
1-1 tie game now in the top of the 2nd after a JMU RBI base hit. Just awful fielding from us this inning, Becker airmailed a throw from short to start out and then Nunnallee dropped a routine fly ball in RF that would’ve been the 2nd out of the inning.
2-1 HOOS in the bottom of the 2nd, Chone James leads off with a triple and Nunnallee drives him home with a base hit to RF. Still no outs in the inning.
4-1 HOOS bottom of the 2nd Luuuuuke Hanson with a two-run bomb to LCF.
6-1 HOOS bottom of the 2nd as Arroyo helps his own cause with a two-run nuke shot into the RF bullpen.
Sirois has taken over at SS for Becker. Broadcast is saying that Eric may have tweaked his ankle rounding 3rd, so something to look out for going forward.
6-2 HOOS in the top of the 3rd on a JMU RBI double that turns into a triple on a misplay by Hanson.
6-3 HOOS still top of the 3rd, base hit scores the runner from 3rd for JMU.
7-4 HOOS now in the top of the 4th, JMU SAC fly with the bases loaded scores a run. They’ve got runners on the corners with two down still in the frame.
9-4 HOOS in the bottom of the 5th now after back to back RBI singles from Teel and Sirois.
10-4 HOOS bottom 5 as Ford bloops an RBI base hit into LF. JMU LFer fell down on contact and had to concede the hit.
12-6 HOOS in the top of the 9th.
HOOS win 12-6 to improve to 22-15 on the season. JMU falls to 13-28.
We’ll see you this Friday 6 PM EST for our road series opener against #24 Georgia Tech.
