GT takes game three 7-6 in 10 innings to avoid the sweep and improve to 30-14 (15-9) on the season. UVA falls to 24-16 (11-10).

RPI of 70 and KPI of 51 right now. For reference last year. I think it’s possible at 7-2 to close the year but I wouldn’t be confident. Committee in baseball is a lot harder to predict vs basketball (see Indiana vs TCU here)
Unpredictable indeed. And also who knows how they factor in the lack of FSU games which could have helped them. Hard to penalize them for things out of their control. Fodder for getting the benefit of the doubt at the end, if they win.
Obviously a sweep would have been better today, ugh.
I think we may want to win the ACC tourney this year and take it out of the committee’s hands

I agree with that. I suspect they will find a way if we give them a reason to include us.
If we do get left out, we have no room to complain unless a truly egregious case makes it in over us.

Would be too soon for anything to leak. Most likely wouldn’t be able to get an MRI today. But I think the video showed enough that it seems highly unlikely that we will see him again any time soon.

Florida’s RPI was ridiculously high, though.
Their W/L wasn’t great, but they consistently played great opponents.
Us this year, not so much.

GT is the best series win we have. All the other decent teams on our schedule have beaten us.
