Game now tied at 3 in the top of the 3rd. Hodges really struggling with his command, just walked in a run. Canes still have the bases loaded with two outs.

I’m unsure why Teel was so shallow on that fly ball to center. Had he been more normally positioned, I feel certain he could have battled the sun better and come up with that catch. Doesn’t excuse Hodges’ lack of command in this inning but we’d be out of the inning otherwise.

Lot of baseball left in this one, but man that was an early dagger right there.

Like @HolidayHoo mentioned we should be out of this inning right now. Teel lost a routine fly ball in the sun that allowed Miami an extra out and baserunner.

Ford K’s, not a good AB from him. Good to tie things up but we’ve really missed some opportunities to do damage with the bases loaded.
