5-3 HOOS in the top of the 7th, Pitt with an RBI base hit. They’ve got two on and one down in the frame, Jay is out of the game now so bullpen the rest of the way.
Make that 5-4 HOOS as a Ference throw to 1st ends up in foul ground with Arroyo not holding the runner. Allows a run to score and the other runner to move up a base.
This team does itself no favors whatsoever.

Bit of a controversy here, Pitt down to their last strike hits a short chopper to Becker at short. He makes the throw to 1st, call on the field is out. Pitt coaching staff objects, there’s no video review for today’s game but the umps convene and overturn the call to safe. BOC is not happy.
But Pitt now has the tying run on 1st, two outs.
