Still angry. Did anyone wonder if Jayden can crush FDU? I didn’t. I wondered (and still do) if he can crush ACC teams. And if we would surround him with guys that might help him do that. There was never any question that he could crush these guys.

That’s obviously what it is. It’s not like Tony’s not playing them because he doesn’t like them.
It’s just that everyone here doesn’t like that. And maybe it’s the wrong strategy with transfers like they are now. But 11+ years of evidence say this is the way Tony is going to do it.
I will say, if Tony isn’t able to do it his way (because of transfers), he’s going to be out of here before too long. He has no interest in playing players that haven’t earned it in his mind, especially to play for the future and to avoid transfers.
At that point we’ll be longing for the days of Kihei and Kody

This game is stupid. If this is in fact the “8 man rotation,” then it literally benefits no one, besides maybe Armaan who has struggled shooting it. I mean, Jayden is just racking up points against a terrible team…how is this helping us prepare for ACC comp? Would be a perfect tune up/confidence booster for Taine and Igor, but here we are.
I couldn’t be more disappointed in Tony if this is truly the rotation. Tony is KING…but even kings can get it wrong and he is WAY wrong about playing a walk on over Taine and Igor. I can’t even bring myself to talk about Kody playing. Too maddening.
I am so frustrated

I hate to do this, but to point out the obvious, there could be something academic that needs to be worked out. (To be clear, I have no idea, but it wouldn’t be the strangest thing for guys coming from overseas to need a minute to get their sea legs in the classroom)

Yeah I don’t know the whole protocol on asking questions but If I hear questions like “Coming out of the JMU game, how does this win help with the teams confidence going into ACC play” I’m gonna be annoyed

This is not true. The huge investment was made before TB. There won’t be another TB but we’ll be closer to Holland and Jones than Gillen and Leitao.
