Norfolk st choking. Press getting to them.

Oh man, Sc State got the turnover and bucket to tie, and then forgot it was tied, and fouled! (same kid)

That happened in an equally high-stakes setting in an intramural game at the University of Idaho when my law school team was playing the other law school team. We tied them up with less than ten seconds to go and one of my teammates fouled them and they hit both free throws. I was pissed at him, but he was my good friend and he was very capable of beating the hell out of me. He had played football at UNLV (where he held the DB bench press record) and worked as a bouncer in Vegas. He knew the score was tied but thought it was smart to foul them so they couldn’t take the last shot. He ended up getting disbarred in Nevada though it was not directly related to his idiotic decision to commit a foul in that situation.

Disbarred? He never should’ve been admitted in the first place. That’s enough to fail the character and fitness evaluation

DB bench press record at a D1 school! That’s plenty fit.

He was 5-9, 190, and had some guns on him. The other law school team had a football guy too, Jon Cox, except he was a big boy. See below.
The most obnoxious guys I ever played against in any setting were the guys on the Idaho football team, Doug Nussmeir and Jeff Robinson. They both played in the NFL (Robinson got a Super Bowl ring), but they were complete pricks to play against. We were without our best interior guys (it was a playoff game on a Sunday in Idaho, so only one of our LDS guys was willing to risk hell to play). I’m Methodist so it didn’t bother me. Whenever I see Nussmeir on TV, I remind myself that he has probably matured in the last 35 years, but I still hold a grudge. I was always happy when his son threw a pick for LSU.
