I am however the world’s foremost expert on how to improve sports in general. It would require a new thread but I know how to fix NASCAR, communist kick ball, Golf, tennis, and many other sports which are currently extraordinarily boring and pointless.

Hey man my grade school homies still talk about my kick ball prowess. Agree the rest

Personally, I like when we complain about how we complain about wins.

I always worry about our in-bounds plays. Seems like it’s a mirror of our offense. No one in a real hurry to get there, just hoping the fourth screen will break someone loose.

You’re getting into ā€œeliteā€ level complaining. Only a few can aspire to such levels.

I used lots of poop emojis to express my complaints.

Also why you should play your 4th and/or 5th best FT shooters (Eli and Leon) some in every game.

Box score and watched the first 20 minutes observation: McKneely hit some middies!

Man I love you dude but every now and again you sorta go to fantasy land.

Edit: not to be confused with the aforementioned Candyland

So you woulda gone to Dante there at the end?

Groves got open and had a size advantage and Dante refused to pass him the ball… and incurred a 5 second violation that went uncalled … he took 5.2 seconds before signaling for timeout.

No. Rohde to inbound. I apologise wasnt fair by me. But matter of factly ā€œreece throws it in and back to him quicklyā€ kind of fantasy level hahaha

Just like we drew up against Furman lol

I dont think that’s fantasy land. Pretty common for the inbounder to quickly get the pass back.

Especially when the person guarding the inbound pass quickly goes away for the trap on the ball. You see where the help is coming from.

Yes I watched it a bunch. He had Groves open right in front of him at the 3.5 - 4 second count mark with a little guy behind me - just needed to make a simple shoulder high pass to Groves who was 7 feet away. Instead he took 5.2 seconds to signal TO.

And on the 2nd one the design was for Groves and Murray to run away from the ball??? I mean really? And our only guy shooting over 78% to throw it in?
We run mover blocker all game and can’t set up a throw in that incorporates some screens, back screens, cross screens etc to free guys up?

I’m supposed to appreciate these metrics when they say Beekman was a net negative? Lol

Deleted. It’s not worth picking a fight with you because I don’t have that type of stamina

Some of our most memorable inbounds plays have had PG’s inbounding the ball. Beekman vs Duke, Jerome vs Louisville/Auburn, Kihei vs Furman… that’s just off the top of my head… CTB likes PG’s inbounding in big moments. I agree with your points about more screening, but we’ve had our share of success with this set up.
