I think the hopeful interpretation is that Tony reduced some of the help defense stuff which then makes Minor more playable.

If we do go Dunn/Groves/Minor my guess is the hedges will still be there, but my hope is the post double goes away and Tony trusts Minor enough to be serviceable in iso coverage. I also want this to mean that Dunn will be able to defend more on the wing and switch off of screens, would benefit us immensely if thatās the case.

Because he wasnāt cracking the rotations due to all the defensive help stuff that is already hard to pick up for a guy transitioning from zone to man, let alone packline.
And hoping that also correlates into less doubling/hedging that generates wide open 3s for Wake Forest.
Im hopeful not because of Minor as an individual but because it signifies a scheme and philosophy shake up that suddenly makes Minor more playable. And also because Im of the mindset if we hadnāt kept doubling and hedging and running around like a chicken with itās head cut off, we could have actually beaten NC State instead of crumbling early and then just going through the motions.
Play to Reece and Dunnās individual strengths. Prevent momentum killing and psychological scarring 3 pointers. Let their big score 30 pts 20 rebounds
