Itās almost like the image you see, as an opposing fan filled with righteous hatred of the opposing school team and coach, doesnāt really reflect the depths of the humanity of the opposing coach, whose mother was obviously a terrible cook in addition to being a Carolina homer

Iāve got to teach 7th graders tomorrow on the one day this week that I have no planning period AND itās supposed to rain, which means no break from kids all day (morning break in my room, lunch in my room).

I donāt want it to get lost in translation during our season and coaching search that Ron is a bad coach, because heās not. Heās perfectly fine, probably somewhere close to average.
Is he the person that should be our next long term head coach? Absolutely not. He hasnāt shown enough in his limited time here to earn that opportunity in my eyes and the eyes of a lot of other people, and thereās things he does from an Xās and Oās standpoint that are very irritating. But he does do some stuff well, like evaluate players and run some fun half court offense sets. I hope he gets another opportunity to be the head man at a mid major, and finds more success at that level.
