Easy to tell why Odom was the choice after watching this.
Deeper dives into the players’ backgrounds are to be featured throughout the series. Fans will learn about 7-foot Nigerian center Ugonna Onyenso, a senior transfer from Kansas State University, and how he copes with being thousands of miles away from home, as well as how Malik Thomas’ late sister inspires the talented senior transfer guard from the University of San Francisco.
Other narratives include heralded freshman Chance Mallory and his friendship with UVA women’s basketball star and fellow St. Anne’s-Belfield product Kymora Johnson, and a pair of Europeans – Johann Grünloh of Germany and Thijs De Ridder of Belgium – living in the United States for the first time.
This sounds great, as the first ep was definitely more broad introduction (totally fine and well done, IMO), so getting to know the players more will be really good.
