He wasnât, letâs say, leading the pack. But he was there - as lodger96 said, Threatts made them all run, and they had great attitudes about it.
Probably because they knew theyâd get their revenge on the suburb kids pretty soon.

Only guy who scored in double figures.
Giving him the ball and letting him figure out the best way to score is pretty much the only viable option in that situation.
If we even got invited, I would be very surprised if we accepted.
With like 12 seconds left down 2 scores I think you just go to the rim and he had the ball.
See your POV. Disagree.
Refs blew the call.
Whereâs @jazznutuva when you need him
Did they blow or did they suck?
Dealers choice
The uneven whistle started late in the 1H. Not sure why we got the shaft in this one but we did. Donât know if we win with a fair whistle but we werenât overcoming an unfair one.
Each drive by baldilocks was a player control foul.
Iâve wondered about that since Tony retired. Cant help but wonder of he would have come back knowing Tony was retiring
Odom (or whoever the next coach may be) would be wise to retain him. Just look at how iMac changed over the seasonâI have to believe that was KGs work
Yes I agree. Players who score 1500 points in college at this pace donât grow on trees. Although every botched layup is irksome.
That game was a microcosm of the season. Started out slow and played poorly throughout with a sprinkling of good play in 1st and end of second half. Coaching was terrible. Frustrating player rotations and coaching decisions throughout.
Ready for a new era of UVA basketball. Sorry to see the Bennett era flame out like it did. We can only hope UVA is back to a legitimate power again very very soon. Like next year.
Not HGN, but voted the same. Odom has to prioritize iMac, throw $ at him, emphasize he is the keystone to the next era by being the one 4 year link to next yearâs team. Heâs everything we want in a Wahoo and shooters like him, contrary to popular delusion, donât grow on trees or in the portal. Heâs kid who did everything right through recruiting to earning time to staying the course after Bennett quit.
Thanks to Ron and the team for giving 100% this season. I really appreciate the players and staff not throwing in the towel this year. It wasnât the situation anyone wanted, but I got to look at the results with a different set of expectations than the last decade-plus and I mostly had fun.
In time, Iâm looking forward to seeing the coaching sorted out and how the roster gets rebuild after the inevitable exodus.
But thatâs in time. For now, Iâm just sad this era has finally come to an end.
Well, at least we donât have to get blown-out by Duke.
Yes, not expecting Ga Tech to pull an NCST either, probably a virtual bye for them
