My complaint for the past few years was that we always looked bored out there - no emotion or energy so much of the time. This team has personality. I hope they turn out to be good also, but they’re fun to watch. They play hard and seem to enjoy basketball. Chance & the Euros are my early faves in that regard.

Play got very sloppy for a couple minutes there on both ends, started looking like an AAU game lol.
Wanna see the defense ramp back up, we let off the gas a little bit.

With 10 min to go and we had ~78, I wanted to say “Wow, we’re going to coast to 100, aren’t we?” but I didn’t say anything for fear of jinxing it. Then we promptly turned it over like 3 times in 5 possessions and didn’t score for over 2 minutes.
So, now I’m un-anti not jinxing us by saying “I still think we break 100”.

It’ll be interesting to see how the identity of the team looks against tougher competition
As long as egos don’t get too involved the ceiling seems super high
It feels dumb to worry about this stuff, but winning by 40 instead of 20 in a game like this is what lets us break into the top 30 or 25 on Torvik or Kenpom. And unfortunately, that is what the AP poll voters look at when making their votes. So like it or not, getting organized and closing this out well has, at least marginal, consequences.
