You do have control over who you foul ā e.g. you presumably have better FT defense if you tend to foul bigs rather than guards. But yeah, thatās probably negligible.
Is there a general FT% difference for home vs. away? Just curious if obnoxious student sections are having any effect.
I also do think that while the impact in overall variance was probably minor, our ability to wear down teams with our defense in the heyday of Bennett ball did make FTās tougher on opponents.
Speaking about bankruptcy, Rider today laid off 40 professors and gave the remaining faculty a 14% pay cut. They are about to lose their accreditation. We probably wonāt be playing them next year
I remember when UNC had fake classes, professors, and students and risked losing their academic accreditation so they wouldnāt get penalized in basketball. But we played them the next season.
Canāt make this one in person and was afraid Iād missed the beginning, turns out it doesnāt start for 90 minutes. Iāll be up, but Iām disappointed.
We move decently fast on offense but make opposing teams work hard when we are defending. A lot of that is probably pressing every possession. Longer to get into the offense.
