Some of the problem for the Louisville game is that there are three home games in 4 weeks, thatās lots of weekends eaten up with football. I live in NC and drive 4 hours to the games, then 4 hours home or stay overnight. I know we donāt have any say over the schedule, but stillā¦
I thought his selling point (in addition to the recruiting) was that he was Cordarelle Pattersonās RB coach for the Falcons and Patterson was used really creatively in that offense so Des would be able to import some of those ideas into his scheme here.
Turns out heās just running the offense Tony Elliott learned from Chad Morris. Not even whatever he ran at NC State the 1 year he was the playcaller there.
Two 1-year stints as an OC before moving onto way worse jobs after each was a huge red flag at the time. It was and still is a really bizarre hire imo
Agreed. As was mentioned earlier, if Des was crushing it on the recruiting trail it would be different. Weāve gotten a few solid prospects, but overall thereās just been very little momentum or excitement.
This is what frustrates me. Yes, the talent level has increased through recruiting and transfers ⦠but not nearly enough.
