I know Casey is a good dude. I remember Casesy standing out of bounds to throw the ball in and he was right besides Tony and they were laughing and talking shit to each other
Indifferent is probably the adjective that best describes how I feel about BA. Yes, he was fun to watch and has a lot of UVA records, but offense is up in general so i imagine those records will fall. Also, there were no bowl game wins. Annoying he went to NC State, but he only started five games for them and was benched.
I do want to add that admire how professional and classy BA was when it was clear he wasnāt a good fit for what CTE and Kitchens were trying to do on offense. He could have whined and complained, but never did.
A letter to BA upon his return
Dear BA
Please walk towards the nearest exit and donāt let the door knob hit ya where the good Lord surenuff done split ya
Peace
Iām pretty shocked by the anti Brennan sentiment to be honest.
He clearly wasnāt a fit for the offense (I would argue it was dumb to try to immediately run a new offense when you inherit a QB with the easy schedule we had that year. This is probably a whole different conversation, but I think if we keep Beck as OC we would have had a pretty nice season that year) and he followed his old OC. Iām not even sure Elliott wanted to keep him for his last year. Itās not like he went to UNC or tech. I think he probably should have gone to the draft before the first Elliott season with his stock as high as it was ever going to get. We could all have nice memories then. Iām not sure getting him to stay did anyone any favors, and frankly I think Elliott should take a lot of the blame for that.
I just really canāt get behind the animosity here.
Casey was a different case because (and I mean this in the most polite way possible) his time here was an objective failure. He flat out couldnāt shoot to the point that it crippled essentially his entire game here. And beyond that, he was also shielded by the fact that McKoy went to UNC at the same time. Bigger rival = bigger animosity and McKoy comments didnāt help his case while also drawing some of the attention off Casey.
Also to be clear, saying I donāt like any of these dudes doesnāt mean I actively hate them. Just if it were up to me I wouldnāt invite them back as guests or make any attention known to it if they did come around.
Also Bryce is in the UFL now with the Michigan Panthers.
I also want to make it clear that when i say I donāt like someone it doesnāt mean I hate them . I donāt hate nobody although there have been a few who make that very hard
The only BA Iāll allow to return to Scott
This would work well with a mobile QB (Colandrea), a decoy jet-action that takes the defenseās attention (Tyree), and a RB with ball skills (Pace). Prince used a variation of this often in 2003.
I pity the fool!
When was he there the first time? I missed it!
Mr. T may have never sat in the stands at Scott Stadium but he knows what takes place.
Pleaseā¦we donāt have the OL to execute that and ACs arm is feared by no oneā¦that play call would be against stacked box and go nowhereā¦yup I am going to have fun being pessimistic about our fb program all season long even if we get into some shitty bowl game
Washington has the worst offensive line in the NFL.
Eh I can think of a few that are worseā¦
