Surprised they didnât feel more comfortable forcing Ridder in the high post of that zone. Kept playing hot potato on the perimeter. Definitely need him to get more comfortable catching the ball under pressure in that spot vs zones in the future

Very underwhelming
Yeah, the only good possession we had vs the zone was with GrĂźnloh in the high post. Which is just bizarre as TDR seems like he would have been perfect there.
Actually⌠did TDR even play the last 5 minutes when they whittled down our lead? Anyone notice when he went to the bench the last time?

Well it was an uninspiring last 30 or so minutes of the game, that lousy ass zone really threw us out of sync. Just got a little too trigger happy from deep, if our guards were more aggressive attacking off the dribble we probably get that lob to Onyenso and GrĂźnloh all night.
Main things Iâm worried about right now are 1. Fouls, 2. Dallin Hall getting caught chasing off screens, and 3. FT shooting. Last one is very correctable and I expect it to be better as the season goes on, but the first two I think will be things we just have to live with throughout the season.

Iâm not worried about our ability to beat zones long term. Tillis will help with that when he comes back and in my opinion we have too much shooting for it to be a major problem.
I think with more reps and more time for this team to gel zones wonât be an issue for us.
