Our guards (except Chance there at the end) seem scared to shoot a floater or little J when they get in the lane. They can all get there with ease. Just shoot.

I do think this is where we’re probably missing Tillis, he’d be the type of player who usually gives zones fits.
With that being said though not really an excuse to look this sloppy against it, we have missed some open shots too but overall just doing a poor job working the ball to the middle. Not decisive enough on our passes.

Yeah, our plan for zone-busting appears to be “passing the ball around the perimeter until the shot clock ticks down and someone is forced to do something”.

Remember when we would put Brogdon and even Jerome in the middle (when not Hunter) to have that passing inside

Wow. NC State shot 75% on 2s and 48% on 3s against these guys. NCCU is overmatched, but I’m not confident we’ll be able to match that.

Yeah I feel like when you get above winning by 30 it’s hard to read into it. Not sure it tells you much if NCSU won by 40 and we only win by 32 or whatever
