We are going to beat the shit out of them today. We are rested, in a good rhythm, and Malik has his groove back. Guarantee they did a ton of skill work this week - we will shoot the lights out. Stanford is all fucked up on time-zone, bus travel, and hotel meals. They could put up a stinker today after their close win against the Farm Raised Bass-Masters. ‘Hoos by 14.

Biggest thing for me today is seeing us stay focused for the full 40. I’m in agreeance with Hav, atleast on how I think the better part of this game will go.
We’ve shown a habit of letting off the gas once we have a big lead, and this Stanford team has confidence from rallying back in their last one. Stay sharp today and get another metric helping W.

Indeed, Stanford outscored VT by 13 to close the game and NC State outscored us by 12 to close that game. Difference was VT was up by 12 points whereas we were up by 27 at NC State. We’ve had a 27 pt lead in our last two games, and if it happens again today, I feel pretty good about our chances.
