It was in response to ā€œHow bad is Villanova?ā€

Tennessee 22 UVA 21 at half. And Ty Jerome had 27 points at halftime last night.

I just think he’s very solid. Not really spectacular, but solid. I guess at a certain point, to @AdventiveQuasar’s point being just kinda pretty good at everything adds up!

I really love Cofie’s future but man he is really, really out of position on defense. But maybe it’s worth it a bit in a game like this. Can’t have iMac, power and Saunders be as bad as they were on offense. Hopefully a couple of them pick it up

Huh??? You’ve forgotten that Gardner was our leading scorer his first year… Out second year he tooled around Paolo Bamchero and Mark Williams AT dook.

Jayden Gardener was severely under appreciated.

It’s the CBS-Sports Network A-team. I like Parrish, but I’ve also listened to his podcast for almost 10 years now…

Tennessee has 12 points off turnovers and 8 2nd chance. So 20 of their 22. UVA has zero points off turnovers.

Yeah these announcers are dog shit in that they only mention UVas bad statistics but couldn’t be bothered to be impartial and mention Tennessee’s.

Uva slander continues…2019 was a lucky year etc. Etc.

You would

Their best offense has been missed close range shots.

Should be up 1. That shit was goaltending early in the half

That makes sense and is generally how I feel about him. He hasnt done anything that makes me cringe or think hes unplayable. Hes just solid enough like you said

Woof maybe I’m just tired but they are ourting me to sleep boring

I don’t know how you watch that first half and come away feeling good about Tennessee here…these announcers are redacted.

If we could make a 3 we’d be up 12. They’re about to blow our doors off because we’re still Virginia. Halfway to 42.

VERY impressed with Dai Dai’s defense, BB’s all around play, and, of course, my man AR.

Not seeing much from anyone else. Imac just can’t shake loose from a good defender who sees no need to ever get out of his face. Was shocked by how bad the little jump hook by Saunders was.

All in all, the D has been good and surprised and delighted to be down just 1 at half. BTW, glad that Sanchez realized that having our quickest and shortest guard inbounding against the press is a really bad choice.

Oof, Okpara is rough at the rim.

Agree with this mostly, though I’ll give IMac the benefit of the doubt in this one. He’s unlikely to see a better perimeter defender better than Mashack the rest of the way.

Why does Saunders keep fading away on those jumpers?
