do you know what ultimately led to iMac’s decision to not return to UVA? My understanding is that it wasn’t money.

I suspect UVA would have coughed up more than anyone for iMac. He only has one year to play, wants to make the most of it. Coach and teammates gone, nothing to tie him really.

Doesnt matter if someone doesnt want change. Change was required. Is required. The system was much more corrupt in the past when billions were made on the backs of the talent of those not being paid. If amateur sports are non-revenue, that’s truly an amateur sport. But at billions and billions, it’s corrupt if everyone but the talent is making careers out of it, making profits off of it. So, a painful path but don’t kid yourselves it was good in the past. You were just naive. I know i was!
