Not much to say tonight. It was pretty clear just from shot quality early on it wasnāt going to happen long before the score made it undeniable. They were outmatchedā¦but also completely shit the bed as weāve seen in tourneys past. Tough to watch when youāre rooting for these guys on a personal level.
The only silver lining I can think of, itās a reachā¦is just that it drives home to the coaches staff (mostly TB) that the same old isnāt acceptable. They have personnel issues but thereās just no excuse to struggle to score 40 in a major college basketball game.
Donāt like seeing this. Pretty unprofessional. You donāt need to make a statement or anything but this activity is just asking for unwanted social media attention. Hopefully everyone forgets about this Thursday during price is right
Obviously based on my endless amounts of posts tonight shitting on B/M Iād love to hear itās being driven home that there needs to be a change in scheme and offensive philosophy, but do you get the sense that TB is actually willing to do a full sale change on that end of the court? Or do you think itāll be more minor tweaks/trying out past offenses while still working in B/M as a fail safe.
Thatās odd for a last game of a season. Might make sense as āweāll prove you wrongā kind of thing midseason. Hopefully itās some intern running the account and not actually Carla Williams
Hereās to hoping she was hacked, because thatās a really bad look for the athletic department if not. Even if she has someone who runs her twitter for her (wouldnāt be surprised if itās an assistant or social media manager) thatās a massive oversight.
Think itās a possibility that an intern who runs the account who thought they were logged into their own personal account is about to get an urgent voicemail soon.
Only we could take a night where we shat our pants on national television by scoring 42 points in a tournament game, and somehow find a way to make it even more embarrassing than it already is.
UNC and Duke lose everything. Clemson? Wake? FSU? Miami? VT? Pitt? ND? Really, the conference, as it stands, just sucks and the coaches outside of CTB are just mediocre at best (maybe Shrewsberry can be good). Why not UVa to win. History is more on that side than the dark picture being painted tonight.
