Iād be nervous as hell too based on that last 10mins of nc state and having to sweat bricks about even making tourney. Theyāre gonna have to loosen up fast in the first few minutes of the game for us to stand a chance
I donāt know what happens after Tuesday but if one thing comes out of Dayton, I want it to be at least one NCAAT win since 2019.

Question was about TB being excited for iMac to have another chance after maybe feeling like he was the guy who let every one down.
āHe didnāt. He played great that game and so did Reece. I believe I made a mistake at the end of the game. We had 2 I think fouls to give but we had decided not to foul.ā

TB talking about the disappointment his senior year at WGB. Team was at a sports bar with 200 people expecting to see their name and it was devastating to be left out.

Makes me think weāll see less Minor than I thought and maybe less Blake too, maybe run the Reece-Isaac-Rohde-Ryan-Jake lineup as theyāre the most sound when it comes to defensive positioning.

Probably an obvious point, but in looking at their schedule, nearly every loss came in rock-fight games where they scored in the 50s or low 60s. SDSU (good D, obviously) beat them in a low-scoring affair by holding them to 55.
I have no idea whether we will do that, but if any team CAN it is us. Thatās at least a little encouraging.

One remark from that press conference that stood out for me: Isaac saying that if his missed FT had cost the seniors a trip to the NCAA tournament, that would have hung with him for a long time. Sports can be so cruel like that (unless youāre the type who everything just washes right off you, which you should try to be lol). Relieved it worked out.
