Actually, their only little guard is Stevens at 6’0, who Reece will obviously be on. Their other guards are 6’4" to 6’6" and a forward they go to a lot who is I think 6’8" 225…perfect for Minor.

Logged on just exorcise my pessimism. Bear with me.
- players press conference gave the vibe of “just happy to be here.”
- Last six weeks CSU has had a top 25 D. Last games we faced with a team playing defense at that high level: Duke, UNC, Wake at home, Clemson, ND at home. Most recent games we couldn’t get above 50.
- CSU is well coached
- their offense is down in the 80s over the last six weeks. But the stuff they run can put our shooters in a blender and lead to easy 2s.
- the pressure of this game is the realest of reals. Moreso than NC state. No home crowd to lift you up in Dayton.
Ok now that’s off my chest. GO HOOS!

Source of optimism- Reece is by far the best PG Stevens has faced, and it isn’t close. Second source of optimism- look at Wade Taylor and RJ Davis game logs. Taylor had 4 games this year in single digits- one vs Reece (shot 2/10). Davis had his worst shooting game all year by a mile - ONE FOR FOURTEEN.
That level of defending at the focal point of the O should give us a real chance.

4/5 past games Stevens was not even the leading scorer. Scott was 3 times, including their last game. Dunn’s D might be just as important
