Who should these teams be named after? Gotta be Perry Ellis from KU, right?
Or Jahvon Carter from WVU lol
Aaron Craft?
I think Wojo from Duke was the original guy from this list, at least for me.
Pretty sure there was a giant Euro stretch 5 who was at Wake for like a decade. Last name was Mitoglu or something close to that.
EDIT: Turns out he was only there for three seasons. Felt like a lifetime though.
Dinos Mitoglu - the Greek Beak
But Wake has had a lot of guys like that
If you need a UVa-Monmouth aperitif, tonight is wacky venue night:
- Michigan St - Gonzaga on an aircraft carrier, 6:30 pm, ESPN
- Stanford-Wisconsin at Milwaukeeās baseball stadium, 7:30 pm, FS1
Also, mea culpa (sorta) from me: Poindexter looks like a legit mid-major guard: two games, starting, 32 MPG, getting to the line, and perfect from there. Great start.
Surely āaperitifā is a word never before seen on a sports message board. Well done.
Love it for Mal. Not gonna tell I told yall so butā¦
Also he worked really hard all summer and looks different even. Sometimes maybe that happens when you know what you are working for and how you are working
Iād feel a lot better about next yearās PG situation if he stuck around. Heās perfect for a 10 min respite for Reece
Thats for sure. I actually spoke to Malachi when he was deciding last summer just to be a sounding board. He wants to be on the floor for 30 plus minutes and use his skills. So sadly for us but great for him he made what is looking like the best decision
I simply said āif you think after 10 years you will see PT as the most important thing and always wondering āwhat ifā then your decision is madeā
I am a huge fan
Im glad for Malachi but of the players that have left UVA lately he is the one i hated to see go. Good defender and although he didnāt shoot much his offense was very underrated and we are seeing it now. But he will get plenty of minutes now and that wasnāt going to happen here. Go Mal
Are you sure about that? Heād be getting McKneelyās minutes and all hell would be breaking loose on the board right now!
Happy for Malachi. Through two games heās getting volume and minutes that he would never get at UVA.
But yeah, I mean if you looked at the boxscore of any mid-major you can find a guard putting up double digit points on high volume shooting. (See also: Marco Anthony).
Iām all for Malachi but I just wonder if down the road heās gonna wish he had that UVA degree.
Transfer back for his 5th year? That would be gangster level shit
The wind during this Gonzaga vs Michigan State game is gonna play a role
Fun idea but terrible as well. I think the Zags smoke em here. Who knows
I feel like that happened last time they did a game on a ship. The wind played a role
We got the right Hauser
