I mean you gotta like the fact he’s including the pic with a potential future teammate in the tweet

I’m assuming he’s just following the same format for all his visit posts. For Nebraska he wrote “GBR??” (Go Big Red)

As I’m reading these posts, it’s starting to dawn on my how hilarious these NIL classes will be - a buncha old people trying to teach young people how to utilize social media.

Promising to see the Isaacs were hanging out together around town. Hopefully they’ve bonded!

It is obvious from his use of the word amazing multiple times that he will soon commit to UNC

LOL, well done. But in all seriousness, they do get the closing pitch.

I have a suspicion that UNC won’t be his last visit. He is also hearing from Michigan, Gonzaga, and UCLA. As he has said he plans on making a decision sometime in early winter, more visits seem very likely.

That’s what he has said. Doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll follow through with that timeline.
If he follows that timeline, I don’t think we get him. Just my opinion, just seems like if we get our priority guys, they normally decide early.

Yeah the longer this goes the worse it seems to me. Which could really go for any recruitment we’ve ever had haha. But eventually there will also be a recruitment that bucks that trend so who knows

Wow haven’t lived in the hook since the mid 90’s.
Went back a few years right before Christmas and caught a hoops game with my girls. I took them to the downtown mall. A lot has changed, not for the better. I’m a little shocked that the mall was on their things to do list this past weekend.

Even worse I was told the Dell was demoliahed this weekend (unless was an old post I saw)

The US is coming out of a pandemic. I am unsure any previous history of recruiting trends will apply in the near future. June is the first month recruits have been able to take official visits in over a year. If I am not mistaken, it is the first time 2022 prospects have ever been able to take OVs, period. They have a lot of catching up to do. I don’t know when things will return to normal. I don’t even know if they will ever return to the normal we once knew. Regardless, with the new portal rules in place, I imagine that the odds that any school will run out of scholarships are lessening. If that is the case, I suspect fewer recruits are going feel any pressure to commit early, and more are going to wait until the spring of the senior year. The landscape is ever changing.
