Is there a mercy rule in college baseball super regionals?
The rule is not allowed in NCAA tournament play (regionals, super regionals and College World Series), in which all games must be at least nine innings.

Yeah, I was looking it up during the game then stopped after the game continued beyond the seventh.
Looks like some conferences have it during the regular season, which makes sense if we care about student-athletes in the way that the NCAA commercials claim we should.

Hoos won 15 to 1 in the opener as Army was limited to just two hits.
At 6:00 tomorrow, UVA gets the winner of tonight’s ECU vs Oklahoma game. They play at 7:00.
The loser of tonight’s game plays Army in an elimination game at noon tomorrow.

Was at the Dish and am now burnt to a crisp, very happy that we play at 6PM tomorrow with the sun going down. The boys looked locked in, need that to carry over when the competition steps up for game 2.

As for OU and ECU, historically, it’s pick your poison. OU has never left Cville without advancing (2010 supers and 2012 regionals) and the last two times UVa and ECU have been in the same regional (2016 and 2022), the Pirates advanced (although we advanced in 2011 with ECU at Davenport).
As an aside, Army has been the 4-seed in two of those aforementioned regionals, as they are again this year.
