Does it lower your expected runs when you are moving two guys into scoring position, rather than just one runner to second or third?

Yes by .06 based on MLB data - not terrible.That is assuming that without advancing the runners via bunt, you’re at risk of double play. In the college game, we could probably assume bunting reduces run expectancy by a bit more given lower skill level is less likely to turn a double play.

Absolute brutal coaching mistake there.

Pull Dudawick, who already had an RBI today, for a guy who hasn’t hit the ball in a month.

The same guy leaves three on base, then misplays a 2-run HR. Big swing there pulling Didawick for Tuft.

O’Connor came to UVA while I was a student. At the time, a single trip to Omaha seemed impossible. Now 20 years later, we’re about to go for the 6th time. Pretty incredible run
