Tarheels took the series finale 6-0 yesterday afternoon. We still got the series (our first there since 2015) and thatās what matters in conference play.

BC at VT: BC wins 2-1
Wake at Duke: Wake wins 2-1
Notre Dame at GT: GT wins 2-1
Pitt at FSU: FSU leads 2-0
NC State at Miami: Miami leads 2-0
Clemson and Louisville had their ACC off week this weekend (we take ours during final exams).
Also of note, Columbia did us a huge solid. Recall we swept them a couple weekends ago. They went to previously unbeaten Alabama this weekend and took two out of three. That gives us a nice SOS and RPI boost which will help come time to select regional hosts.

Baseball team looks really good again. Letās hope our bats arenāt as streaky as last year and our bullpen is not so erratic. Wahoowa!

I think he yells at the HP ump about the second pitch of the game being a ball, and then tries to get out of it by arguing that he didnāt say anything about the first pitch.

Parker with a strong start, and the bullpen was fantastic. Bats were quiet but did just enough to win.
Needed this one to end the day, makes it a bit easier to rest on.

Baseball hosting High Point today at 4 (Gātown tomorrow).
High Point is starting Roy Halladayās kid. So thatās semi notable.
Clean, focused baseball gets us 2-0 in the midweek this week. I expect Georgetown to be more of a challenge.

8-3 win for the Hoos today.
High Point hit a solo homer on the gameās first pitch. You donāt see that too often.
Starter Connelly Early settled in to strike out a career high 10. At one point, he sat down 11 batters in a row.
First year OF Harrison Didawick had the other big day (2 run HR, 1 RBI triple).
