I have wondered the same. His “Tu” gimmick got old fast, but he clearly had some sources who were plugged into the AAU side of recruiting . The more people who have sources the better for the board.

It’s a business decision. Everywhere Tu goes he drives everyone else away. There’s a reason he’s not welcome not just here, but on basically every meaningful UVA sports message board. The LRA staff have every right to moderate the membership and discussion to make this as fruitful and inviting a space to maintain/maximize their readership and subscribership.

He definitely had good AAU sources. When I coached AAU I always got the best info from refs. A lot of them love to gossip and if you are friendly to them they tell you a lot. My son still hears from AAU friends and people and usually has the best of the worst news. I heard about BVP’s wrist about 8 am before anybody else knew. I was just hoping it wasn’t true

Exactly- and who do we have replacing Getter???
This means that we SHOULD get Blu Cain this year vs. *not getting Ty Davis next year. In addition on the Sabre they’re saying that Jarin Stevenson is going to reclassify and commit to UNC so we still have an open spot.
I’d be cool with Blu, another stretch forward- and perhaps another bruiser and let’s ride!
