I just read the Houston Wilson interview with with Jarin Stevenson on the Rivals site. I am impressed. The young man knows how to use the subjunctive mood. There are supposedly college educated posters all over the internet who haven’t mastered it. I suspect some of them don’t even know what it is! Stevenson just stepped up a notch in my estimation!

The subjunctive mood is really a forgotten skill in today’s game. Can’t wait to see how TB utilizes Jarin’s elite subjunctive-ness at the collegiate level!

Chance gonna be that next local guy that we sorta recruit but miss out on because it was never really gonna work after they got a PG in the class before? But good luck explaining that to a segment of the fanbase.

Same segment complaining we didn’t get Mallory while saying they never want to see a PG under 6 feet tall again after Kihei.

Saw STAB a couple of times this year, and out of the P6 kids (at least 4) on their team, Williford is really the only one I liked a lot for us.

Out of curiosity, who are you considering the “PG in the class before?”
Chance is 25, sure he assumes we are going to get a pg in 24……somebody, if we ever offer one.

Like @Foresthoo said they’re going to try to add a PG in '24. Doesn’t mean that would necessarily stop them from going after Mallory though. Mostly I was joking about how things went with Justin Taylor.

When I wrote that post, I was careful with its wording. I did not to say that there were posters in this forum who hadn’t mastered the subjunctive. I didn’t want anyone here to feel insulted. Evidently, my restraint was unwarranted! Who knew?
