I love Isiah Wilkins, i really do however we could not win a natty with him because he could not score. The natty came the next year. Its nice for guys to be defensive gems however if they cannot score or pose no offensive threat in today’s game its too easy to defend the team.

I sort of agree with you. But if you get the right complementary front court piece to go with Jennings I think it can still work fine. Don’t get me wrong to maximize it we need the back court to be efficient offensively and we need the five to be a threat. I think it is possible that we have the backcourt (at least starters). Definitely need the right center.

Yeah, but Zay was the DPOY his final season right? That is an *impressive accolade…and to your point it wasn’t Zay’s fault we lost to a 16, it was definitely a combo of Dre and others being out…with that said *if we have *One game changing/planning Zay specialist, but the rest of the interior guys are scorers and potentially out to the 3 point line then I would take it.
SDSU made the national championship with barely any frontcourt scoring (just Ledee playing less than 20 mpg), or a ton of scoring in general.
