Iām a little mystified about why Virginia doesnāt seem to be aggressively pursuing any guards or outside shooters in the transfer portal. I know we were mentioned as contacting or having interest in some, but it didnāt seem like we tried very hard.
Possible explanations: 1) Theyāre confident Reece is coming back; 2) They believe some combination of Dunn, Bond, Harris and Taine will be effective from outside; 3) Theyāve actually lined up several likely transfers ā and maybe Blue Cain, too ā but theyāre very good at keeping secrets.
What else? Am I missing any other explanations?

I hope we are just keeping it VERY low key about how weāre going afterā¦we need PROVEN shooters, otherwise this team may be like the 19-20 team, *if we can get Mama-D, Huffzingis, and Braxton Key like defensive playersā¦which we still donāt have full yetā¦so yeah we need ALOT on our roster.

Boring answer is probably some of all 3. I think even if Reece is back, we are ISO at least one more guard/wing shooter/scorer and Cain is the most likely (current) candidate for a true frosh and the transfer candidates either seem less likely or more hush hush.

Heās got the floater, heās got a nice little crossover, heās got some midrange, his passing is pretty nice especially with the left hand, long 3ās, a hesitation cross over, left hand off the glass, he falls down a bit when he draws contact (And 1 !), plus heās 6ā5, and looks like he has plus length meaning he can play the 1,2 or 3 as iMac and Armaan did at 1-2 inches shorter- Just snag him before he blows up.
