You figured it out right? Sorry I never sent the link
Hate to break it to yāall, but there arenāt enough minutes to go around for every player the forum has high hopes for breaking out. Somethingās gotta give, and apparently it isnāt going to be minutes at the short point guard who canāt shoot position.
On 1. Truly great play making defenders are never out of the play. Groves with a nice fake to get open and beat Leon but Leon adjusted so fast. Continuous even
I think it means (and hope) heāll have a Dunn type impact from last year. 8-10mins per game (building up to the 10 as the year goes on). Most of the impact on the defensive end with the occasional highlight dunk and flash offensively
Keep working on overall ballhandling I think and he will be good to go/ contribute
could see him in some real small ball lines ups on occasion with him and dunn at 4 and 5 with Rohde providing height at the 3.
X transitioning nicely from forehead dunker to wrist dunker/shooter
SVG said this really well - re: his Badger successor Dick Bennett. āQ: How do you limit turnovers? A: donāt play the guys who turn it overā
I donāt love that philosophy, but nobody cares what I think (but knowing that doesnāt stop me from posting it )
Iāve heard a pretty credible rumor of Bond playing the 4 on offense and the 3 on defense some, swapping offense/defense with Dunn and letting him be a mover on O. That they see him as having a game like Gardner in that midrangey area but more mobile/explosive.
Not confident enough in it to say thatās for certain, though.
No need to fly over the backboard in August. Cory A was great at conserving when it didnt matter as much
Green team mustāve lost their scouting report going under screens on McKneely
Iād have to think for this to be true it would mean Dunn is seen as a credible threat from 3.
Same with āold manā Beeks. As needed he will periodically double hand dunk or throw down from the freethrow line.
Thatās why we have red shirts. Whole new world when you start red shirting 2nd and 3rd yrs.
Dunnās shot actually would benefit from a RS year, but my mental health would never recover.
That block on Groves was so slick from Bond. Imagine pairing his length and athleticism with Dunn at the 4, Buchanan at the 5, Gertrude at the 2, and Beeks at the 1. Not the first time Iāve brought up this lineup but on paper itās almost the perfect packline defensive lineup
Now imagine that crew picking up full court and jumping and running old school style!
Keep going. Iām almost there
If there is a just world we will see a lineup of Gertrude McKneely Rohde Bond Dunn for atleast 5 minutes.
Rohde, IMac, Bond, Dunn, Minor
