Awesome, I’m logging off, because that’s the best UVa hoops news I’m apt to get today (hint, hint, Kon…)
Ok cool, but where did he think Kon was going?
I just feel like the four of Reece, Minor, Dunn, and IMac is super suited to pick and roll. Doubly so if Dunn’s three point shot is legit and you can have bond play the “4” on offense
Question for you guys. I need to set my work schedule for early next year in the next week. Usually the ACC schedule is out about now and I set it around that. But not this year.
Between M, T, W and Th, what two nights would you guess are likely to have the least number of home basketball games?
Monday and Thursday
Definitely Thursday and then indifferent between Tuesday/Wednesday.
Uhh Big Monday?
Seven mid-week ACC games each week during conference play. One gets ESPN Big Monday. Occasionally they play on Thursday but that’s usually reserved for the women. Most men’s games are T/W.
Schedule is being released soon. Maybe next Tuesday?
Last year:
- Mon - 2
- Tues - 7
- Wed - 4
- Thurs - 2 (but 0 in regular season)
21-22:
- Mon - 5
- Tues - 7
- Wed - 6
- Thurs - 1 (but 0 in regular season)
I agree with Monday and Thursday in quantity but you could miss out on 2 or 3 of our biggest acc games.
I just quit work during college basketball season
Schedule is being announced Sept 26th
More of a this season point than a recruiting point, even though sort of both, so I will put it here:
We really need one of iMac, Rhode, Elijah, and Leon to emerge as our alpha dawg guard/wing scorer. And then we need another one of them to be the really good Robin to the other one’s Batman. We need at least one and maybe both things to happen in order to have a shot at getting back to mostly top 30 offenses.
I am hopeful for all 4 guys, but it’s far from certain that one, never mind two, of them will emerge into that Ty, Kyle, Brogdon, Harris stratosphere. I think that’s where the Kon loss is biggest**. He gave us another shot at that. And I think Bliss is probably more of a London-like PG in terms of impact, than a Ty like impact, which means … what? I don’t know…
** throw Cain in there, too, which I guess is a good lesson to stay tuned for decommits.
I’ll be the first to throw a chip in for Rohde being that guy. Already done it in college as a freshman. Step up in competition now, but if I’m betting on mentality, he’s my dude.
Elijah won’t be scared to attack anybody once he gets comfortable, either.
If it’s college basketball season and you aren’t fully devoting 16 hours a day to our team… I mean, what are we even doing here? This is big time basketball. Life can wait.
Ryan Dunn windmill
Exactly
Not sure that this fits here (or whether it’s already been posted - I’m in @jazznutUVA tike zone right now) but appears Carson McCorkle retiring from bball.
