Think its just high usage on a bad team. 38% fg is pretty abysmal no? If we have enough openings maybe heās a body you recruit to bring off the bench and maybe compete for a starting spot if he takes the next step?

He takes a lot of 3s, so his eFG is slightly better (46.7%). And heās low-turnover on a high usage team. But I agree, thereās a little bit of ābest player on a bad teamā thing going on. Which sometimes translates into efficient contributor on a better team, but also itās not like you can say their team performance is totally independent from him. I think he does look like he could be a rotation player on a NCAAT-quality team.

I might be wrong but I donāt think he really projected as a HM guy coming out? Would love to see him added next year if he has any interest. Even if we donāt rely on him as a top 3 or 4 guy heād be an instant fan favorite.

FG% is a junk stat that should be abolished. 2s and 3s arenāt worth the same and shouldnāt be categorized together for any purpose.
Hand has a EFG% of 47% (bad), TS% of 56% (decent, the 90+% FT is helping a lot), and ORtg of 114.6 (very good!).
Heād be our second best guard. I wish he were on our team this year.

There are 500 guards in college basketball that I wish were on our team this year LOL. Thatās more indicative of our team this year. Eye test says he probably isnāt a starter on a tournament team (of course just my opinion).

Related, Perry was scared sh*tless of Cronin during the Maryland game I saw. Just looked terrified of him, like a kid who gets hit by his parents looking over his shoulder every play.
