Well, with 18 teams there is a logjam. Additionally, he doesnât add a whole lot other than shooting the three. Of course, he does that very well, but assists and defense is average at best

Back when there were only 8 teams.
Should expand to at least 7-8 per team.

Itâs a great point â for most of our history, being first team meant you were top 5 out of 40 starters. Now you have to be top 5 out of 90 starters. Much, much higher bar.
The conference is 2.25x as big as it used to be (18/8), so if we truly wanted âfirst teamâ to have a comparable meaning today as it did back then, each team would now have 11 players on it.
The least we could do is expand to 8.

Yeah, seeing both that Mo was first team all-ACC and 8th or whatever in the voting caused me a fair bit of cognitive dissonance. I was like âWait, but⌠How? I donât understand.â
